First Round Update

The First Round of the 2023 Clovernook Open is complete.  Clovernooks own Daniel Wetterich is the First Round Leader with a 6 under par 65. Connor Schmidt and Nick Carlson are tied for 2nd both recording a 5 under par 66.  Clay Amlung(69) and Eric Ansett(67) were the only players "bogey free" in Round One.  There were a total of 11 eagles on Wednesday.  The scoring average was 72.8.  With a stroke average of 4.48, Hole #1 played the easiest.  Hole #4 with a stroke average of 3.68 played the most difficult.  Hole #16 was the only Par 5 to play over par(5.04).

Following Thursday's Second Round the field will be cut to the Top 30 and ties.  The current cut is projected at (E) but Thursday scores could easily move the cut to (-1) or (-2).  Today's tee times are from 8:00-1:20pm.  Notable players and tee times include Eric Ansett (-4) 11:10am, Daniel Wetterich (-6) 11:20am, 2020 Clovernook Open Champion Donnie Trosper (-3) 11:30am, Michael Visacki (-1) 11:40am.  Come watch great golf today, followed by live music from 6-9pm in the Clovernook Open Village.
