Charitable Efforts

The Clovernook Open is proud of the impact we make in our community.  The 2023 charitable efforts exceeded $17,000.  We are thankful to our wonderful Tournament Sponsors and generous Clovernook Members who helped make this possible.

Since it’s third playing in 2021, the Clovernook Open has partnered with the First Tee of Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky. First Tee and it's programs introduce kids to golf while teaching them valuable life skills. Each year tournament professionals host a golf clinic for First Tee students, and surrounding schools and community organizations. Following the Final Round of this years Clovernook Open, tournament founder David Wetterich presented First Tee of GC & NKY CEO Patty Ragio with a check for $10,000.

In addition to supporting First Tee, The Clovernook Open raises funds for the Bob Harrison Memorial Fund, and Payton's Lemonade Stand. The late Bob Harrison was a long tenured golf professional at Clovernook Country Club. His memorial fund will continue to make improvements at the club and on the course in his honor. Payton's Lemonade Stand was a huge success in 2023. Participants in Tuesdays Pro-Am Event were served ice cold lemonade on the 6th Tee by Payton and her friend Sophia. Payton's Lemonade Stand supports children who are facing medical, personal or economic hardships.
